What is the typical lead-time on an order?
- New tool: about 5 weeks
- Extruding only: 4 weeks
- Finishing (paint, powdercoat, anodizing): 1-2 weeks
- Fabrication: 2 - 4 weeks depending on the complexity
- Freight: We ship all over the nation and the globe. We use overnight air, ocean, rail & truck. We deliver next day from our stock to local areas and ship out within 24 hours to national accounts.
Are there minimum requirements on an order?
- We typically measure a minimum by the total weight of the order. Very small extrusions may not have a minimum order requirement (but they will have a set up fee).
- An extrusion that has a circumscribing circle size of less than 7" has a minimum order of 500 lbs. Circumscribing circles of 7"-9" have 1000 lb minimums, and larger extrusion have a 2000 lb minimum.
- Miniature extrusions actually can be produced in as little as 1 lb quantities with a set fee.
- We regularly do prototypes and will analyze the best method to supply based on your needs.
Do you do anything other than aluminum extrusions?
- Yes! Whether you are a start-up and would like some design assistance, to a Design firm or OEM that needs their extrusions machined, finished and assembled we can accommodate your needs.
- We also regularly handle custom components in stainless steel, castings & plastics.
My final product requires some assembly; can I order a final product direct from you?
- We are happy to help with your assembly requirements. We can do anything from the smallest of assemblies to a finished product boxed with your company logo carefully applied.
- We have regular assembly programs where we manage the entire supply chain of customer's products or sub assembly.
